John R. Kish writes (Nov. 2022) - The photo of Alex and the boys is in 1942, before the war and his passing (Jan. 1943).
My dad (Jackie) soon after his father’s passing was overseas for 3 years. Steve my other uncle must have been in the military also.
He and my dad actually met in Germany after the fighting stopped.
